We are Reborn
Today was a joyous and momentous occasion as Payne Memorial Church and Hobson’s Chapel came together to celebrate the baptism of many of our beloved members. This combined baptismal service marked a significant spiritual milestone, as these individuals publicly declared their faith and were reborn as Christians through the sacred act of baptism.
Baptism symbolizes a profound transformation and renewal, representing the washing away of past sins and the embrace of a new life in Christ. As each person was immersed in water and rose again, they demonstrated their commitment to follow Jesus and live according to His teachings.
We rejoice with our newly baptized members and welcome them into the Christian community with open hearts. Their journey of faith is a testament to the power of God’s love and grace, and we are excited to support and walk alongside them as they grow in their relationship with Christ.
Pastor Jerry, with the help of Brother Richard and the Church family, made this event possible through their dedication and support. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the Palmore family for generously providing the venue for the baptismal service.
